Possible increase in the price of Chinese cars in Iran

Asa khabar: With the increase in the price of the dollar, the prices of foreign cars, including Chinese cars, are increasing daily. As a rule, after supply and demand, the price of the dollar has an effective role in the cost price of cars.

Will the price of Chinese cars increase again by the end of September?

Meanwhile, a car market expert in response to the question of whether the price of Chinese cars may rise again by the end of September? He said: “The price of the dollar increases in the market, followed by the price of meat, potatoes and onions, so with the fluctuation of the price of the dollar, the price of basic commodities will also be affected.” Therefore, with the fluctuation of the dollar price, the increase in the price of foreign cars is not a strange issue.

Babak Sadraei stated: Although the import of foreign cars is prohibited, but the increase in demand has caused the price of foreign cars to increase. If the price of the dollar rises, the price of Chinese cars will also rise. The price of Chinese cars is expected to rise by another five to 10 percent.

He added: “The daily increase in the price of foreign cars indicates the devaluation of the national currency.” For example, a person buys a car worth 1 billion and 200 million Tomans with 17 thousand Tomans, but as soon as the price of the dollar reaches 23 thousand Tomans, the value of this car becomes 2 billion and 300 million Tomans.

“When banknotes are printed unsupported, the value of the national currency depreciates,” he said. Although the price of foreign cars remains stable as the dollar depreciates, the depreciation of the dollar creates a psychological atmosphere in which the price of cars decreases in the market.

Sadraei pointed to the prices of Iranian carmakers and said: “Two Iranian carmakers are also increasing their products based on the price of the dollar.” For example, the price of Peugeot 207 also increases or decreases based on the dollar rate; Because the rial has lost its value and the products of automakers also have some value.
